If you’ve been feeling called to Reiki—whether for your own healing and spiritual growth, to support the people you love, or as the beginning of working with others—I invite you to join me for this two-day First Degree Reiki Training in Kihei. 🌺

First Degree is where we begin to build a relationship with Reiki through experience and practice. Over our two days together, you’ll learn the history and principles of the Usui System of Natural Healing, receive four sacred ceremonial initiations, learn the practice of self-treatment, and gain hands-on experience giving and receiving Reiki.

This training is rooted in oral tradition, small-group learning, mentorship, and ongoing support—giving you a foundation you can continue to deepen long after the weekend is complete.

I’ve been reflecting on the word rapture lately.

It’s often described as something dramatic…
an ending… something to fear.

But through Reiki, and through moments where life felt very fragile, I experienced something different.

Not fear.
But stillness.
Peace.
A sense that life wasn’t disappearing… just changing.

Reiki taught me how to stay present in those moments — and that presence shifted everything.

It made me wonder how much of what we fear is the experience itself…
and how much comes from the way it’s been described.
