A Weekend with Johannes

Dear Reiki Community,

I’m excited to share a very special opportunity coming to Hawaiʻi this November.

Johannes Reindl, Lineage Bearer and Grandmaster of Usui Shiki Ryoho, will be in Honolulu November 14–15 for a weekend gathering devoted to Reiki, community, and connection.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll have the opportunity to simply be together in the energy of Reiki; to share Reiki, receive treatments, talk story, ask questions, and spend time in friendship with other Reiki students and practitioners.

There is something very different about experiencing Reiki in community, particularly in the presence of someone who carries the responsibility of our lineage.

Johannes travels throughout the world in his role as Lineage Bearer, and having him spend an entire weekend with us here in Hawaiʻi is a rare opportunity. It may be several years before he returns to the islands again.

For those who have never met Johannes, this is also an opportunity to experience his authenticity and the qualities that Phyllis Lei Furumoto recognized in him when she named him as her successor and entrusted him with the responsibility of carrying the lineage forward.

This weekend isn’t about needing to know more or achieve another level of Reiki. It is an opportunity to gather, practice, share, ask questions, deepen our relationship with Reiki, and experience the connection that comes from being together within this tradition.

I would love to have a group of us from Maui travel to Honolulu together and share in this experience.
